Teachers at Pee Wee Patch are passionate about providing a safe, loving environment for their students. They are dedicated to learning your child's individual learning style and providing a curriculum that is best suited to helping your child develop all of their amazing potential.
Educated teachers..
All Pee Wee Patch teaching stafft are required to have or obtain a degree in early childhood education.
Pee Wee Patch provides two full days of professional development and training for our team each year.
Our teaching staff is trained annually in first aid, CPR and 36 hours of continuing education.

Pee Wee Patch, we perform in depth background checks on all employees.
Long term teachers..
We pride ourselves on low teacher turnover. Once teachers join the high quality teaching team at Pee Wee Patch, they stay!

The Pee Wee Patch Leadership Team
Rhonda Meyers- President
Ms. Meyers has 19 years experience administering Early Childhood programs.
She obtained a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Hope College and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Oakland University.
Ms. Meyers is highly involved in the field on Early Childhood and serves the community in the following capacities:
President, Metro Detroit Association for the Education of Young Children
Governing Board Member, Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children
Orion Chamber of Comerce, member
Great Start Collaborative Oakland County
TEACH Advisory Board member
Early Childhood workforce steering committee
Business Advisory Committee, Lake Orion High School
Orion Area Parade Group-board member
Amy Maxwell- Program Director
Ms. Maxwell obtained her BA in Education form Western Michigan University and holds a State of Michigan teaching certificate.
Her Masters degree is in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University.
Ms. Maxwell has been a part of the Pee Wee Patch management team since Pee Wee Patch opened June 23, 2003.
Ms. Maxwell is a member of NAEYC and serves as the annual conference chair for the Metro Detroit Association for the Education of Young Children.
